On the feature list, you'll find a massive 500-entry phonebook, a
calendar function, voice memo, voice dialing, a calculator, and games. All
functions are viewed through a tiny display that is only 1.5 inches
diagonally. With the trend toward wireless data communications, the
display is big enough to show only three lines of text, which really
decreases usability when it comes to using WAP and SMS functions. With the
smallest settings, the V. 66 can support 18 characters across, which is
better than most phones this size. Some may find it difficult to read the
fine print, but generally we found it quite legible. A fun feature is the
choice of three colors for the backlight, which is more of a novelty than
a necessity.
